Territory & Partner Account Manager

Headquartered in Ringwood, Hampshire and incorporated in 1979, Tiger Communications is a software development company delivering business intelligence, data analytics and management information linked to Unified Communications & Collaboration systems from Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft, Mitel and Unify. Our channel partner network includes many of the leading service providers and system integrators.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Territory and Partner Account Manager to join the UK team, this role would suit a candidate with field experience in both customer retention and net new business sales. Ideally candidates will be located within one of the targeted geographical territory’s however there is some flexibility offered.

Following the release of our latest product Tiger Prism, there is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to migrate and upgrade an established client base in both on premise and SaaS solutions whilst also supporting net new opportunities with existing partners and developing new partner relationships.

The role reports to the Group Sales Director and has a sales target. Commission rates are very attractive and both monthly and quarterly escalators are available.

You will be joining a team of professional, highly motivated people with a passion to deliver high performance and take care of their customers and aligned partners.

Client Geography – London, M4 corridor, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Midlands

Circa 150 existing customer accounts across all verticals (100-20,000 employees)

Responsibilities:

  • Introduce the Tiger Prism platform to clients
  • Establish regular telephone calls and develop relationships with multiple contacts at each customer
  • Attend regular on site meetings with clients to update on latest developments or increase awareness of product capabilities
  • Work with both clients and channel partners to develop net new sales and opportunities within the existing client base
  • Achieve Sales Targets
  • Use Salesforce to ensure systematic approach to client contact
  • Use Salesforce for tracking of forecasts, appointments and activities
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns
  • Issue and follow up quotations
  • Identify potential threats to accounts i.e new phone/UC system, customer contact leaving or change of partner
  • Take ownership of escalated customer issues to ensure that all aspects are resolved and/or seen through to completion by the support team
  • Attendance at monthly sales meeting at Tiger HQ

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Client / relationship management experience
  • Sales background, ideally with consultative and services selling experience 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong people and team skills working with multiple stakeholders
  • High degree of initiative and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Can-do attitude and hands-on approach
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with numerical and written work
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
  • Microsoft office skills

.NET Backend / SQL Server Developer

Type: Permanent

Location: Ringwood, Hampshire

Salary: £40K p/a

Tiger Communications is a market leader in telecoms business intelligence. We are seeking a .NET Backend developer to support and extend our existing product.

Reporting to the software manager you will building new and corrective database and middle tier code in support of our product Prism. You will have a strong background in writing complex SQL queries.

Summary of Role & Expectations:
As a backend developer you will:

  • Design, build and test new database objects
  • Author SQL reports
  • Build data access middle-tier code
  • Report to the Software Lead Developer
  • Be working alongside a team of 4 other developers

Expertise:
Around 8+ years industry experience in as many of the following areas, ordered by importance:

  • SQL Server 2008-16, T-SQL (DML and DDL)
  • Telerik Reporting (or similar, for example SSRS)
  • C#, ADO.NET
  • TFS, NUnit, Moq, Ninject or similar
  • Understanding of design patterns (Domain Driven Design advantageous)
  • Understanding of the telecoms/telephony domain advantageous
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC advantageous
